VESDA-E VSP-962 Filter Cartridge

VESDA-E detectors have field replaceable parts, one of which is the filter, VEP/VEU/VES filter part no. VSP-962.
The filter shall be accessible by opening the cover for the field wiring terminal area.
Once accessible, the filter shall be removable and replaceable by
hand without the need of a tool.
The filter shall incorporate an electronic
circuit which identifies it uniquely and maintains status information such as
the filter remaining life.

Replacing the Filter

To maintain the operational integrity of the detector, it is recommended that the Filter be replaced every two years, or when a filter fault occurs. It may be necessary to replace the filter more often where the detector is installed in environments that experience high levels of contamination.
